Architectural plans have now been finalised, its now ready for council submission. Fingers crossed they wont require any changes. Superimposed design on photo we took during our last site visit (few weeks ago?). Ruapehu looks stunning and you can just catch the tip of Mount Ngauruhoe (thats Mount Doom to you LOTR fans) in the horizon.
Here's a cropped photo - a wide vista makes far objects look smaller than they are. This image shows more detail and Ruapehu looks more imposing.
